This Privacy Policy explains how Pet Talk ("we", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and app. This page is maintained by the Pet Talk team to answer common questions about how your data is handled.

1. Data we collect

Recordings. Short audio and video captured in your browser while you use the recorder. Recordings are sent to our servers only to generate an interpretation and are not retained after processing.
Account data. If you sign in, we store your email address and sign-in metadata to authenticate you.
Waitlist emails. If you leave your email to be notified when the dog-voice feature launches, we store the email address and the page you signed up from.
Usage analytics. Anonymous event data (page views, button clicks, session identifiers) to understand how the site is used.

2. How we use it

To provide the interpretation feature, keep your account secure, contact you about the waitlist, and improve the product. We do not sell your data and we do not train models on your recordings.

3. Sharing

Recordings are processed by our AI provider solely to return an interpretation. Authentication and storage are handled by our backend provider. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you signed up for the waitlist, you can ask us to remove your email at any point.
